Most Consecutive Years in the Premiership

With Stoke City going down after being in the Premiership for 10 years, I thought I would look at who has been in the Premiership for the most consecutive years in the top tier (including the 2017/18 season). If a team has 0 it means they got promoted last year and aren’t safe yet e.g. Huddersfield.

Out of all the teams in the Premiership, six teams have been in the top tier the whole time and they include Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd & Tottenham. It’s hard to think of a time when Man City went up there at the top but out of the so called Top Six, they are the only ones to have not been in the Premiership the whole time with only 16 years in the top division.

The potential relegation teams doomed at the bottom, Swansea are the team who has been in the Premiership the longest time if you don’t include already relegated Stoke City. Then the lowest is recently promoted Huddersfield.
